Paulie’s Vault

Paulie was a staple in the Syracuse music scene, and for 40 years he recorded shows of all genres from a multitude of venues. When he passed away he left behind a MASSIVE collection of completely unreleased recordings he had acquired. Most he did himself, some he got through the forgotten art of tape trading. Each episode will feature a whole set (or at least as much of the set as Paulie taped). Some are great sounding soundboards, others are decent audience recordings he made, some are just awful soundng that are here for history’s sake( fear not you will be forewarned). We hope you enjoy this collection of rarities, including a plethora of unheard Syracuse history. Brought to you by The Lost Horizon. Theme song by Greg Pier.

This set has an incredible sound direct from the board. There are moments the toms are a bit loud, but all in all great sound and great setlist. This show was killer.

Here we have a good sounding recording Paulie made of local glam act Marilyn's Chamber. They were on par with bands such as Warrant, Cinderella and later Whitesnake. Not sure of the date on this one, but it's got to be early 90's.

Here we have a really great sounding set from Zadoc and The Nightmare. Putting a more modern alternative twist on the Alice Cooper aesthetic, Zadoc has been doing it for years and doing it well.

For our 50th episode (!!!) we have an amazing sounding set from Dracula Jones. Quite frankly, one of the best recordings i've heard so far in his collection. The band plays an incredible set. Please enjoy this incredible Syracuse relic from one of the best bands the city has ever known. Awesome spoken introduction by Jeff Jones!
